A heads up to those I owe replies to - I'm terribly sorry it's taking so long! I've kind of been swept up into my social life, but I have the week off so I'll try my best to keep up, and I will definitely reply to everyone within the next two days. Thanks for understanding!

information

  • I've been writing for around six years years online, though I've been writing for much longer. Since I grew out of asteriks after a month of using them (no offense to those who still do!), I highly prefer third person storybook. I'm not going to lie when I say that first and second person creep me out.

  • My responses vary quite a lot. However, I either try to match my partner and/or write as much as I feel is necessary. Quality > quantity, always. As long as it keeps the scene going, I'm not too picky when it comes to length.

  • Threading works best for me. I can never remember to sign on anything other than my ooc screen name as far as AIM goes and for some reason, it's just very...intimidating? I like being able to take my time with my replies and ensure that they're not poorly written due to being rushed.

  • I love both celeb and pb (that includes fandoms) almost equally, but I enjoy the creativity that comes with pb far more. However, toss a great celeb line/pairing my way and I'll love you for it.

  • I have a preference for het, but I will also write femmeslash if the idea/pairing is something I can't turn down. I've never tried slash, but I don't think I would be able to do it justice.

  • I highly prefer playing females. As you can see, my list of males is a bit limited. Like I stated above, if the pairing/idea is amazing, I will consider playing a male.

  • I play out sex scenes and all that jazz, but our characters will not be imitating the sexual behavior of rabbits 24/7, and I won't play out a storyline that only revolves around sex. There has to be some other premise involved besides smut. If my partner is more comfortable fading to black, then that's fine as well.

  • There are some situations I'm simply not comfortable with playing out. That list includes murder, suicide, incest, rape, self-mutilation, and physical abuse. I'm aware that it occurs in real life, but scening them doesn't interest me.

VAGUE IDEAS: Modernized/twisted versions of fairytales or mythology, vampires, vampire/human, something set in the future universe of Harry Potter with original characters, faux-celeb, reincarnations, anything fantasy related, foreigner/american, muse/artist, historical (Roman or Greek time period, Renaissance, Victorian, Jazz Age, 1940s, and anything else you have to throw at me!), Resident Evil (either with canon characters, original characters in the same setting, or just the general premise of it), Twilight twists (Bella being the vampire, for an example), etc! I'm open to nearly anything.

Forms are silly, so just drop a comment and I'll reply asap!
